Andrea Schwab, JD, CPA
Andrea brings over 25 years of legal experience to her clients. In addition, she is also a Certified Public Accountant which provides a depth of business understanding, helping her clients navigate complex business transactions, restructuring, and company purchase and sale transactions. In addition to business transactions, she has represented clients in commercial and professional liability litigation, health law licensing and regulatory matters, legislative drafting and policy analysis, and appellate law. She also serves as outside general counsel for several clients.

Andrea provides a unique legal perspective, having had experience in how law is enacted by the Legislature, litigated by advocates, and interpreted by courts. She gained this invaluable experience advocating on behalf of Texas physicians and patients in front of the Texas Legislature and state agencies as counsel for state medical associations, drafting and negotiating bills, many of which exist as law today. She also advocates for her clients in front of licensing agencies, such as the Texas Medical Board, or in court in cases involving commercial litigation, breach of contract, and noncompete matters. When cases navigate through the appeals process, Andrea has drafted appellate briefs and amicus curiae briefs, persuading the appellate court to interpret and apply the law to the facts in the light most favorable to her clients' interests.
